With 20 years’ experience within the recruitment industry, I have seen the market change from the days of sending CV’s via the fax machine through to the dawn of the digital age. One thing that stood out to me from the start, was that Recruitment Consultants where perceived as sales people which is a label that unfortunately still rings true. I have strived to shake off that label by believing in the provision of a high quality service, partnering our clients and to that end CRS has flourished. With that ethos as our foundation, we have established and developed a successful business. We measure success by client and candidate satisfaction and our repeat business and reputation illustrate this.

I balance a busy working week with enjoying home life with my family, which is equally as frantic with 2 young children. I have an appetite for anything outdoors and can be found mountain biking anywhere with a step gradient!

Simon Robins

Consultant

I began my career in the recruitment industry over 10 years ago, supporting clients in the commercial and industrial sectors ranging from Blue Chip to SME’s, representing both temporary and permanent candidates. The recruitment industry has changed drastically over the last 10 years, however, I believe that if you keep things simple and straightforward, work hard and really develop partnerships with your clients and candidates then you will stand out from the crowd! This is what makes Clarke Recruitment Solutions different. We boast that we treat all our clients and candidates with uncompromising respect, transparency and honesty.

In my spare time my wife and I run around after our two children, who have better social lives than us! I have a mad passion for Football (QPR) and F1 – (Lewis Hamilton).

Consultant

CRS helped me secure my very first permanent office based role (many years ago!) so when I saw Tom’s advert back in May 2011 to join his team as a Recruitment Consultant, I jumped at the chance. My background is in Consultancy, Training, Sales, Recruiting and Account Management for large UK & Global Organisations so I am able to draw on these experiences when building relationships with clients and candidates.

It became apparent very quickly when I started at CRS that it is a special place to work. To date, there is a great mix of backgrounds/personalities, everyone gets on really well and there is an overwhelming family feeling that runs throughout the company.

The ethos is about people, we treat people the way we would want to be treated. Candidates and Clients relationships have developed and I feel genuinely privileged to have made some very special friendships over the years. It’s about being honest, building up that mutual trust and respect and listening to their requirements which ensures candidates secure the career roles they want and clients secure the best candidates to join their business.

My spare time is taken up by my family, especially my three children (who have a better social life than I do!) My family definitely take priority when I’m not at work, however I do also like to draw, be creative and enjoy a good book!

Sara Jenkins

Resourcer

My background prior to becoming a Resourcer with Clarke Recruitment Solutions was primarily Customer Service within the automotive industry and I loved the customer contact and also supervising a busy reception desk. I’m also a qualified Midwife!

I couldn’t be prouder to be part of a recruitment agency that really listens to their candidate’s needs, placing the right candidate in the right company, matching skills and expertise with the right environment. I am the point of contact for all our temporary staff and really enjoy the daily interaction I have with our temps, answering any queries and helping them through the whole registration process when coming into meet us.

Outside of work I try to spend as much time as possible with family and friends.

Abbie Sommer

Finance and Payroll Coordinator

I have had many years of experience working in financial positions in a variety of companies ranging from Marketing, Industrial Construction and Global Software and now cover all aspects of the company Finance at CRS. It’s a great company to work for, we have a friendly office environment here in Egham and our dedicated team always show a high degree of professionalism to all candidates and clients.

On a personal note, I live with my partner and have 2 grown up sons. When I’m not number crunching in the office, you will often find me pursuing outdoor interests. I enjoy walking in the countryside, gardening, cookery and flower arranging. My main interest and hobby is Yoga and I have been teaching this subject for the past 11 years to adults and children which I find thoroughly enjoyable.
