Reporting toOperations Manager
Job Purpose*Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of mechanical/ electrical
parts, tools, and equipment.
Duties to include, but not limited to: -
·Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of mechanical / electrical parts, tools, and equipment.
·Ensuring all materials and components are stored correctly and easily accessible.
·Keeping accurate records of stock levels and updating inventory management systems.
·Working closely with site managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of the required materials.
·Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
·Ensuring all components meet required specifications and quality standards.
·Complying with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
·Coordinating the disposal or return of unused materials when necessary.
Essential requirements: -
·Previous experience as a Mechanical/ electrical Storeman or similar role.
·Strong knowledge of mechanical/ electrical fittings, materials, and components.
·Ability to manage stock control systems and maintain accurate records.
·Good organizational and time management skills.
·Awareness of health & safety regulations related to mechanical equipment and materials handling.
·Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office
·Work as a team member within a medium sized global organization
·Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
·Work overtime & Travel as and when required.
·Good attention to detail and natural affinity with positive H&S culture
·Have a current full clean driving license
